Chohans (plural) is a Sanskrit term meaning “The Lords
of Light” or “Lords of Meditation.”
They have
their own kingdom of nature and are higher than man on the evolutionary scale.
They are Divine
Intelligences charged with the
supervision of Kosmos.
There are 3 types of Dhyani-Chohan
with several sub-divisions and they function in a hierarchy.
They
correspond to Archangels or Angelic Host in the Judaic and Christian traditions.
